GF Sugar Cookies

sugar cookiesI wanted to make sugar cookies but I wasn’t sure how they would turn out not making them in the “traditional” manner, but when I tweaked around my “old” recipe and made these GF sugar cookies I was actually really surprised at how yummy they turned out! They were a big hit at our house and didn’t last long!  I hope you enjoy them as much as we did!

Super Simple Gluten Free Sugar Cookies

Makes about:  4 dozen

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter  (room temperature)
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups Gluten Free Bisquick
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

In stand mixer cream together butter and sugar.

Add vanilla and egg and blend well.

Add GF Bisquick and mix till dough forms.

Shape dough into a roll (like the cookies you buy in a roll at the grocery) and wrap in plastic wrap.  Place in the refrigerator and chill overnight.

Cut into desired size and bake on a buttered cookie sheet for 10 – 12 minutes depending on your ovens temperature.  For a softer cookie cut your baking time by a couple of minutes.
