Dreyer’s Frozen Custard Review

As most of my readers know I am a  BzzAgent member.  Occasionally they send me products to try in exchange for my opinion. Recently I was lucky enough to get to try out the Dreyer’s new Frozen Custard.

In the picture above you can see what I received along with my Free coupon, a cute ice cream scoop and some pass along coupons were among the items included.

My first trip to the store to pick up my frozen custard was unsuccessful,  there was this couple right in front of where the frozen custard was and they just took to long, It was an elderly couple so I figured I would just pick it up on my next trip, which was successful.

FullSizeRender(4)Dreyer’s offers several flavors in the frozen custard, Old Fashioned Vanilla, Snickerdoodle, Peanut Butter Pie and Salted caramel Pretzel.  I went with the Old Fashioned Vanilla.

The texture is not only it extremely creamy and rich, but it holds its texture when licked and scooped. I would say it is definitely indulgent, but the flavor isn’t either heavy or overwhelming, it’s light and airy, a multi-layer sweetness and bold vanilla flavor that lingers on the taste buds.

The smooth nature of the custard is right up there with Rita’s and Culver’s, both chains that make and sell custard.  In comparison the flavor and the price stand up right next to these places and no lines!

Overall the exceptionally smooth texture and rich flavor is worth the trip to the grocery store!

Disclaimer: I got a coupon for a FREE 32oz Dreyer’s Frozen Custard Coupon from BzzAgent.com, the review is entirely my own thoughts on the product.
